Samay Raina roasted Zomato, and we saw an opportunity! Samay poked fun at their services and quirks, even revealing a Swiggy t-shirt underneath. This roast quickly became a hot topic online. Our teams saw an opportunity and got Swiggy Genie to comment on that post and brought in other brands to collaborate by replying to that comment. The audience loved it and actively engaged with the comments, creating a buzz and driving engagement. The likes each brand got is probably equivalent to their daily engagement (except some of the behemoths of social). Roasting is an Art but the one getting Roast is the real Artist. Zomato has some guts to bring Samay Raina on stage to get roasted after his recent performance at Pretty Good Roast Show on Kusha Kapila was soo damn good and dark that they have to cut his jokes because most of the audience is not ready for Samay's darkness. Zomato India have some good marketing team 🙌 🙌 💣 💥
