Today, hospitality AI relies heavily on PMS or third-party data sources. But what if there was a way to generate your own unique insights, directly from your operations? Levee's AI uses computer vision to analyze images captured by room attendants after cleaning. This data provides a wealth of information about room condition, brand standards compliance, and guest behavior. Here's the magic: - Untapped Data Source: We leverage a previously unused data stream, reducing reliance on external sources. - Proprietary Insights: By analyzing our own data, we generate insights that are completely unique to your property. - Actionable Intelligence: These insights empower you to optimize housekeeping operations, personalize guest experiences, and maximize revenue. This shift towards internal data aligns perfectly with Forbes Technology Council recent article highlighting the critical need for AI solutions to prioritize data quality. https://lnkd.in/g9-tN9hm Levee goes beyond just data collection. We transform visual data into actionable intelligence that empowers hoteliers to make data-driven decisions. Let's chat about how Levee can unlock the hidden potential within your hotel operations. #hotellintelligence #artificialintelligence #computervision #hospitality #hoteldata #forbes

Hoteliers have access to an endless stream of unstructured data about their guests and their preferences but how can they truly leverage this information to improve decision-making? More accurate predictive and even prescriptive analytics are now more within reach thanks to the advent of AI. For example, AI can instantly analyze hundreds of online guest reviews to not only highlight areas of improvement, but through sentiment analysis can also show how guests feel about your hotel and how their feelings have changed over time. This is a remarkable leap forward in data analysis and can be a game changer for those savvy hoteliers who take advantage of this technology in order to improve the guest experience. For our Insights article today we take a deeper look at the types of data hotels collect and the different ways they can be leveraged. A very timely article as we start to look, predict and forecast for the year ahead! 💭 💡 ℹ Two key messages for me with firstly an intro to Prescriptive Hotel Analytics, expanding traditional forecasting based on historical trends but now takes into account the many unknowns seen in big data - weather, geo-political events and more. And secondly, such a simple and important reminder - small data exists across nearly all #hospitalitytechnology systems today and is often immediately actionable and more valuable to operational decision making! #dataanalysis #shiji #shijianalytics

Results-driven Revenue Operations Executive with a focus on Business Development, Partnerships & Alliances seeking to leverage experience, attitude, and work ethic to drive year over year growth and business continuity
Is generative AI really a game changer for the Hospitality Industry? Here's the snapshot of generative AI's impact on restaurants and hotels provided by AWS and Ensemble IQ from a survey sent to restaurant, hotel/motel/resort, foodservice, hotel management firm, or restaurant technology vendor/solution provider employees who have knowledge of their company’s current and future technology strategy and utilization. ** A majority of respondents (60%) feel their company understands how generative AI differs from artificial intelligence and machine learning and that it is an important part of their tech strategy (50%), but less than half (46%) can agree that they are well-positioned to successfully implement solutions. **Most respondents classify their companies as either mainstream adopters (37%) or late adopters (21%); the 17% share of innovators is driven by technology solution providers, 30% of whom identified themselves as innovators. (As a point of comparison, only 9% of hotel operators identified themselves as innovators.) **70% predict to significantly or somewhat increase spending on investments in generative AI, but there is less consensus around where that boost will be sourced from. **We were pleased to see respondents uphold their primary responsibility to deliver hospitality to guests with more than half (58%) reporting improvements to the customer experience as the most important outcome when considering generative AI solutions. ** Top concerns for the misuse of generative AI were Accuracy (47%) and privacy / security issues (44%) rank as the top two concerns ACTION ITEMS: *Our survey data suggests that solution providers will need to demonstrate complete transparency and share indisputable data, testimonials, case studies, etc. to address accuracy and security/privacy concerns. *Increased education and knowledge-sharing will provide technology leaders with the confidence to advocate for generative AI solutions at their companies. *Examples of how generative AI can deliver positive outcomes in activities outside of routine tasks will inspire companies to pilot workforce, inventory and resource management solutions. utm_source=swiftmail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=HT_NL_Alert&mkt_tok=ODI1LUxTUC01NDUAAAGOuG-2B6gRYn2Z6DPYaxl7unY2Q7QZbyHslM8ofOWRkpdW6zU9wRvk6GAomtApWnWKR-0S8uSu_cDVhS1Cx4DPOtDdktGvepVeOCOrcXS35Q

The big data movement, machine learning, and artificial intelligence have revolutionized revenue management in the hospitality industry. Traditionally, revenue management relied on historical trends to predict the future. However, today's hoteliers face numerous challenges, including changing consumer behavior, shifts in travel patterns, and the influence of pop culture on travel decisions. Artificial intelligence allows hoteliers to address these challenges, optimizing pricing algorithms for maximum profitability. Chris Crowley, chief revenue officer at Duetto, emphasizes the use of AI and machine learning for targeted marketing campaigns, determining the target audience, the messaging, and the delivery method. Big data has also increased the need to identify relevant data from new sources. Stan van Roij, vice president of product strategy at Infor Hospitality, highlights the role of AI in separating relevant information from noise and modeling guest behavior through deep learning techniques. AI also enables greater margin optimization, as it can incorporate various revenue centers such as venue spaces and restaurants, according to Geert Mol, senior manager of product management at Infor Hospitality. Additionally, AI can optimize operational aspects like duty rosters based on forecasted guest presence and preferences, allowing revenue managers to focus on strategic decisions. IDeaS has applied AI beyond modeling and revenue science, enabling property-level revenue management capabilities at scale for central revenue managers to manage large hotel portfolios, says Klaus Kohlmayr, IDeaS chief evangelist. Machine learning models power analytics that learn from past data and predict future performance, such as demand forecasts, which are crucial for optimizing pricing and inventory decisions, according to Tess McGoldrick, vice president of travel and hospitality at Revenue Analytics. Furthermore, AI and machine learning have enabled real-time offers to guests, a significant impact on revenue management, as highlighted by Jason Bryant, vice president of Nor1, part of Oracle Hospitality.
