Almost all software engineering interviews have a behavioral round. Now you can have mock behavioral interviews with an AI interviewer. My friend Karunakar Gautam has created this website https://lnkd.in/d9B29sqX Pick a question, talk to AI just like you would talk to a normal interviewer, AI will ask further probing questions and finally grade your answer and different aspects of conversation. Karunakar has 10+ years of experience working at companies like Google, Adobe and he has structured the conversation and evaluation by the AI interviewer similar to the one used at top tech companies. Go give it a try.

Got this invite for an interview from John Sharma at Mercor for a software Engineering role and oh my, I thought I was being contacted by some human. Turned out to my surprise I was invited by an AI so organized and solid! I wasn't sure what to expect since I've not had an interview at least with a bot before now, but I must confess, I was blown away by John Sharma. Bot had all details on my resume arranged into structured questions and also kept picking up relevant points from my response to continue the interview. It kept to time and asked me to end the call after our stipulated 20minutes. Wow, this is a redefinition I must say for the recruitment ecosystem and it's a pointer to the possibilities of a faster reach with AI. #recruitment #artificialintelligencetechnology

Unveiling the Future: AI Interviews - A Game-Changer or a Challenge? Hello LinkedIn community! 👋 I'm Anurag, the mind and heart driving SmartIntervu.com. With 5+ years in the software industry and a year as a business owner, I recently delved into the dynamic world of AI interviews at a thought-provoking SaaS event. The Scene: A SaaS Event Buzz Imagine a room buzzing with tech enthusiasts exploring the future of Software as a Service (SaaS). As the owner of SmartIntervu.com, specializing in AI-powered interviews, I couldn't resist immersing myself in the dialogue on AI interviews' profound impact on recruiters and candidates. Recruiters' Excitement Engaging with seasoned recruiters, a unanimous agreement emerged – AI interviews are a game-changer. Animated discussions highlighted the speed, efficiency, and transformative capabilities AI brings to hiring. No more tedious resume sifting; instead, there's a promise of swift analyses, detailed reports, and streamlined workflows, allowing recruiters to make strategic decisions with newfound efficiency. Candidates' Perspectives Transitioning to candidates' concerns, I discovered a mix of curiosity and skepticism. While some embraced AI streamlining, a palpable fear lingered – the potential loss of the human touch. One witty candidate asked, "Is my future boss going to be a robot?" Concerns went beyond skills evaluation, delving into fairness, personal connection, and the irreplaceable intuition in job suitability. Candidates sought reassurance that their essence beyond resumes would be valued. Striking a Balance As the debate unfolded, I pondered the delicate balance needed to harmonize AI's efficiency with candidates feeling seen and valued. The middle ground, it seemed, was key to a future where AI interviews could be a true win-win. The Future Journey The SaaS event discourse left me curious and committed to navigating AI interviews' evolving landscape. It's evident this transformative technology reshapes recruitment, promising an efficient and human-centric hiring process. What's next? Can we bridge the gap between recruiters reveling in efficiency and candidates yearning for a personal connection? At SmartIntervu.com, we're on a mission to explore these questions, championing a future where AI interviews seamlessly integrate into the hiring process. In Conclusion: The Ongoing Journey In this era of innovation, where technology and humanity intersect, the AI interview debate guides us forward. Join me on this exciting adventure as we unravel the mysteries and possibilities shaping the future of hiring. To explore with us, visit SmartIntervu.com and be part of the AI interview revolution shaping tomorrow’s workforce. #AIInterviews #FutureOfWork #SmartIntervu

I spent years leading Hiring Committees during my time at Google and I would have loved to have had an aggregation of interview feedback automatically summarized! I was out on vacation last week when Ashby's new AI generated debrief summary functionality was released but I had to post as I love this update! Debrief summaries use our latest AI-powered technology to aggregate feedback from prior interviews and provide a top-level summary to help drive the discussion during this part of your interview process. The click through quotes used for "evidence" of signal are really special! #hiringAI #talentaquisition #recruiting #ats #ashby #qualityofhire

How to use AI to prep for your next interview - Part II I used this prompt (for Google's Gemini) for an imaginary job interview at Rightmove - "Give me 5 great questions I can ask the interviewing manager for a field sales job at Rightmove." In my experience, the quality of candidate questions is a telling factor in candidate selection, so here's a chance to shine more brightly. AI is also great for suggesting questions you can expect from the hiring manager. In the past couple of weeks I've asked every candidate if they've used AI in their job hunt, and not one has given it a thought. Go on. Take the risk. Differentiate yourself.

1moIf you want to build trustworthy relationships with potential colleagues and the company itself, hacking the interviews is definitely not a good idea. How can people trust you if you are lying about your skills from the beginning? Due to these situations and the use of AI for passing coding steps, companies will not trust applicants remotely. It seems like it’s becoming more obvious that we will have on-site, in-person interviews again
