📢 Hey Founders, Here’s What Makes a Great Cold Inbound Email Cold inbound emails are usually ignored, but recently we received one that stood out. Here’s the breakdown of the A+ cold email: 👉 Direct and Concise: The email delivers a clear, succinct message about the venture. By using examples i.e. Uber for helicopters, the purpose becomes crystal clear. 👉 Personal Touch: By starting with appreciation for Leverage's passion and acknowledging their track record, the founder showed genuine interest. It's not just about the ask; it's about building a connection. 👉 Easy to Read: No unnecessary jargon or lengthy paragraphs. The email got straight to the point without overwhelming the recipient. 👉 Metrics for Reliability: The founder did not just tell; they showed. Numbers speak volumes, and the venture's achievements are presented as a testament to their potential. 👉 Non-aggressive and Inviting: The call to action is friendly and open-ended. It's an invitation to a conversation, not a forceful push for immediate action. 🚀 Why It Works: We appreciated the thoughtful approach and transparency. The metrics give a sense of credibility, and the personal touch makes it clear that this is not a generic inbound. This founder just secured a meeting. 🔍 Key Takeaway for Founders: When reaching out, think about how you can genuinely connect. Be clear, concise, and let your achievements do the talking. Remember, it's not just about the ask; it's about building relationships. What do you believe separates the great cold inbound emails from the rest? Share your thoughts! 👇 #StartupLife #Entrepreneur #VC #VentureCapital

📧 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲! ✨ In my experience, a cold email sequence should ideally contain three emails: the initial contact and two follow-ups. Here’s why: 1. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥: I aim for a 70-80% open rate on the first email. It's crucial that the majority see this email, as it sets the tone and presents the core offer. 2. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰-𝐔𝐩𝐬: If contacts don't engage with the initial email, often the issue lies in the offer, not the frequency of contact. Therefore, I limit follow-ups to just two. 3. 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Some contacts may overlook or forget the first email. The 1-2 follow-ups are there to catch these cases, but more than that can be overkill. 🤔 What's your approach to cold email sequences? Business Development Strategy + Cold Email + LinkedIn Outreach = More Sales | Owner/Founder @ Bizy Group | 🇺🇸
Not getting the results you want from your cold emails? You might be making some common mistakes. Here’s a straightforward guide to transform cold emails into warm connections: 📝 Pay attention to titles. Ensure you address the recipient correctly (Mr., Ms., etc.). 🔍 Research your recipient. A little homework can make your email feel more personal. 💌 Keep it concise. No one likes reading long, dense emails. 💼 Be clear and direct. Get to the point quickly. 📎 Avoid using generic templates. Personalize your email to make it stand out. 🤝 Introduce yourself and propose a time for a chat. 🔄 Follow a clear process: cold email, call, and then close the deal. 💬 Write emails that catch attention and stand out. 🔎 Instead of sending emails to 1000 people, target 20 and get to know them before reaching out. Ready to make your cold emails more effective? Follow these tips and watch your response rates improve. You might even build some great connections! If you need more advice, I’m here to help. How Can Solo Founders Effectively Close Sales and Secure Meetings? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gdZJaWDT #SalesStruggles #SoloFounder #SoftwareSales #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth Hey everyone! 😊 As a solo founder running a small software business, I'm reaching out for some advice and support. My background is mostly in product development, with a sprinkle of marketing experience. Right now, I’m diving into selling standardized software products, like chat software, which isn’t exactly groundbreaking—lots of companies are offering similar solutions. However, I’m facing a serious challenge: getting meetings with potential leads on LinkedIn (or pretty much any platform) feels like climbing a mountain! 🏔️ I’ve tried different approaches, including emails, yet it seems nearly impossible to get responses that lead to a meeting. It leaves me wondering where I might be missing the mark. 🤔 Here are some pain points I’m dealing with: High Competition: There’s a saturation of chat software in the market, making it hard to stand out. Lead Engagement: Connecting with leads on LinkedIn can often feel like shouting into the void—crickets are the only reply I hea...

Your Competitors Don't Want You to Know About me | I help SaaS Founders to Unlock Untapped Potential | LinkedIn Genie
𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: It's 2 AM, and Sarah, a SaaS startup founder, is burning the midnight oil, frantically cold-calling potential clients. 📞😓 Meanwhile, across town, Alex, another SaaS entrepreneur, sleeps soundly as qualified leads flow into his inbox. 💤📩 What's the difference? 𝗜𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀. As a LinkedIn lead generation expert, I've witnessed countless SaaS owners transform their businesses by embracing the power of inbound strategies. Let me share why: ↪ 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆: Imagine leads coming to you, already interested in your solution. That's the inbound magic! ↪ 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: Sarah's burning cash on outbound tactics, while Alex's inbound strategy works 24/7 at a fraction of the cost. ↪ 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Alex's content attracts leads and positions him as an industry expert. Win-win! ↪ 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: While Sarah's pipeline dries up when she stops calling, Alex's inbound engine keeps humming along. The moral of the story? Inbound leads don't just save time and money; they attract clients who are more likely to become long-term partners in your SaaS journey. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: In the world of SaaS, the most valuable leads are the ones drawn to your light, not chased in the dark. ---------------------------------------------------------------- ♻️ Repost this if you think it can help someone in your network! 𝗣.𝗦. Are you Team Sarah (outbound) or Team Alex (inbound)?

How often do you come across a cold email in your inbox every morning? Usually, I all ignore those cold emails. But for some reason, one caught my eye with the preview - Can I get you a few clients in the next 14 days? As an agency owner, getting clients is always the toughest challenge. So, seeing the word ‘Get Clients’ instantly grabbed my attention! I read the email and replied, setting up a call for 5:30 PM the next day. I promptly forgot about it, assuming it was another typical pitch. The next day at 5:35 PM, I got a call from the sender asking if I had trouble joining the meeting. I was confused until I remembered the scheduled call. I joined the meeting and to my surprise I liked the appointment-setting service pitch and decided to try it. Fast forward a month, and last week I closed my first $2.5K client through their services. Had I not opened that email or taken that meeting, I might never have signed an international client for $2.5K, all with minimal effort and investment. Sometimes, your email inbox contains treasures waiting to be discovered. So, don’t neglect it. Read through those emails – who knows, your next big deal might be just a click away. #ColdEmail #ClientAcquisition #BusinessGrowth #AgencyLife #Entrepreneur #Networking #LeadGeneration #SuccessStory #EmailMarketing #ClientSuccess #DigitalMarketing #PerformanceMarketing

I constantly read on LinkedIn how it’s all about content, content, content…but no one really gives examples of effective content that works and how it translates into actual dollars. I feel like I saw a great example recently so wanted to share 🤩 A B2B startup I work with is building their growth strategy and I had a hunch that a referral program could work well for them but B2B referral programs are notoriously difficult to execute successfully. While brainstorming, I remembered reading a newsletter by Elena Verna about the 3 biggest mistakes when setting up B2B referral programs and how to avoid them. I went back and re-read it and then was able to suggest a plan for this company’s referral program that I felt strongly would be effective. I’ll update in a future post if it’s successful or not but either way, it was another reminder to keep my paid subscription to Elena’s newsletter 😄

As I’ve journeyed through the world of lead generation, I’ve stumbled often! Over some common pitfalls that many entrepreneurs face. And trust me, they’re all too easy to fall into. 1. Overlooking your target audience: When I first started, I created content that I thought was engaging. But without a clear understanding of who my audience was, I was essentially shouting into the void. Researching and defining your audience isn’t just important; it’s essential. 2. Ignoring follow-ups: How many times have you sent an email or a message and thought, “That’s done”? I used to do this until I realized that following up is where the magic happens. Often, potential leads need a nudge or two to engage. 3. Focusing solely on quantity: I once aimed for a large email list, thinking the bigger, the better. But I learned that quality trumps quantity. Engaging, interested leads are far more valuable than a long list of disinterested contacts. 4. Not testing and iterating: It’s easy to get stuck in a routine, but if you’re not testing your strategies and learning from the results, you’re missing out. I regularly revisit and refine my approach based on performance data. Remember, Lead generation isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. It requires continuous learning and adaptation. P.S. What lead generation challenges have you encountered? Let’s share👇 #LeadGeneration #Entrepreneurship
