Some of the newer partners have asked me how I got started with Anacker Marketing Group S.A., it was really about helping a friend. I was teaching at a business prep school in Molsheim, France. I met a young baker at the local gym. He asked if I was new in town, and he ended up showing me some of the best restaurants in the area and sites. Later when he had the opportunity to go to the US, he asked me for advice. We were good friends at this point, and I helped him get settled in San Francisco, where my mom grew up. I told him he had a skill set as an commercial industrial baker, and that his knowledge was very valuable in the US. He is now the head of Global Food Development for Starbucks, and is living his best life. I continued to help my friends and people I respected, to find success and help their businesses with my knowledge. Thus AMG was born, by helping my friends succeed in business. For 17 years I have been helping my friends and business I like succeed. All my partners at AMG have been doing the same thing as well. We now have a portfolio that is truly impressive, and now that I am back at the head, we are launching soon. HEART Labs was created to help a family owned business find greater success through high level marketing and strategy from my team. Now it has taken on a bigger roll by targeting the entire metabolic healthcare sector. With the imminent launch of HEART Labs and AMG US, we are about to disrupt not only healthcare but tech in a big way. My C-Suite from AMG S.A. are now coming to the US to not only help HEART Labs, but expand AMG to be fully stateside. I’m so excited to show you all the hard work my team has done to combine our various tech startups and adapting the technology to disrupt the healthcare space. I'm VERY excited to officially welcome Christian Baldwin to the Onova team as a Senior Business Operations Manager! 🎊 Christian comes from a long entrepreneurial background running his startup, Spectra Plasmonics, for the last 7+ years. He built the company from the ground up alongside his co-founders, raised millions of dollars, built out their sales function, and most recently led product development. I love hanging out with other founders, and when I was introduced to Christian, there was already a shared language in our passions and vision for where Onova was headed next 🚀. Onova has existed for 5+ years, and in this time I'm both proud and embarrassed to say that we've never had a proper sales function. Our business has grown to 7+ figures entirely through referrals. We've been intensely focused on creating the world's most exceptional large-scale hackathon programs for our clients so that by the time our projects wrap up, there's no more gas in the tank for sales. Our superpower has been doing the work, as opposed to selling it. And we are incredibly grateful and fortunate to have had clients and partners who proactively refer us to others. That being said, we have the potential to grow much more and that's where Christian comes in. Christian will take on multiple roles at Onova, but his first task is building out a proper sales function. This will help us reach and serve many more Fortune 5000 clients. The innovation work we do is industry-agnostic and needed more than ever with the current pace of technology innovation. I truly believe there's nothing more powerful than a hackathon for driving corporate innovation - and the results speak for themselves. To no surprise, most of our work as of late has been focused on Generative AI. In fact, we just kicked off another Generative AI hackathon for a partner with over 1,000 of their employees participating. Our partners have been able to solve problems they have been struggling with for years in a matter of days. They leverage the collective intelligence of thousands of their employees to uncover high-value AI use cases and rapidly build tangible POCs. All while training these same employees on the latest AI tooling. And of course, these hackathons are a lot of fun for everyone involved! Employees thrive in an experimental environment boosted by competition where they can shoot for the moon and still land safely. This is a big win for both onova and our clients :)
