Network evolution is unpredictable, but we can approximate its future by examining the past and present. While some networking technologies have been phased out, #DWDM, #Ethernet and others have stood the test of time. The industry then experienced the rise of #cloud services amid hyperscaler growth, challenging how operators build their networks.
