I make sure your ASSets are safe and secure with cutting edge tech, zero emissions equipment, and second to none customer service. Ask me how!
Since 2013, approximately 200,000 veterans have transitioned from military service to civilian life each year. Many of these veterans have started their own businesses. As of 2020, there are about 2.52 million veteran-owned businesses in the United States, making up 9.1% of all businesses in the country. These businesses generate significant economic impact, with a combined annual revenue of $1.14 trillion and employing around 5.03 million people. The industries with the highest concentration of veteran-owned businesses include professional, scientific, and technical services, construction, and other services. Ref. Smallbusiness.com In 2012, little did I know I was less than a year away from leaving the Army and embarking on this grand adventure we call LIFE. I had ZERO plan, ZERO idea of where I would go, work, or who I would call friends. I did not have a "passion" really, and I had no clue what my true strengths were outside of war and training for war. I was 23 in this picture, on my second deployment, and no idea of the amazing future ahead of me OUTSIDE of the military. I was not a very good "garrison soldier", mainly because boredom had my number, and knew it could really F@#k with me, as it goes for most infantrymen I knew. I had very little guidance and ZERO mentorship in my life, but had I known what lied ahead, man would I have been very excited to get to it! Most veterans come with resiliency, dedication, courage, and so many strengths that do not translate to a resume. I never knew small business ownership was in the cards for me, but it was, and it changed my life for the better 1000 times over. I believe most veterans HAVE what it takes to become successful businessmen and women, most not all. We just need to guide them towards the direction of freedom and purpose again. #veterans #smallbusiness #businessownership #infantry #business

As the resident Veteran for the Tuscaloosa Branch, I talk to veterans every day that are struggling to highlight their military skills. For my Veteran friends, lean into your "soft skills". Coachability is a skill that fewer and fewer people posses. For many veterans, establishing a new support network is crucial for personal well-being and professional success. PrideStaff shares strategies veterans can use to build strong networks as they navigate a post-service career transition.

A dynamic talent management professional with award winning organizational design experience, transforming cultures that achieve extraordinary business outcomes.
Employers: VETERANS HAVE AND LEVERAGE ADVANCED TECHNICAL TRAINING "Military experience, on average, exposes individuals to highly advanced technology and technology training at a rate that is accelerated relative to non-military, age-group peers. Research validates the suggestion that this accelerated exposure to high-technology contributes to an enhanced ability to link technology-based solutions to organizational challenges, and also the transfer of technological skills to disparate work-tasks. In other words, not only do military veterans (on average) have more advanced exposure to high-technology relative to their age-group peers, but they also make the most of that knowledge by effectively leveraging knowledge across disparate work-related tasks." IVMF, Syracuse University, "Revisiting The Business Case for Hiring Veterans." Again, another unique superpower many veterans possess. When you couple their learning agilities with the more "advanced exposure to high-technology" environments, employers begin to see this differentiated value and invest accordingly. The #veteranreadyplaybook represents a new standard in employer excellence that helps you map this value, improving your organizational performance, and in turn, growing your revenue over time. Ask me how. #Leadership #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #Business #veteranready
