There is a lot to be said for the positive impact of having civil professional relationships in your place of work. The understanding that your "personality type" or "communication style" doesn't give you an excuse to trample the mana of your colleagues appears to be lost on some, and I agree that it is down to leaders to proactively manage these individuals. It's not what you preach but what you tolerate that will define the culture of your team.
