Glad to share our last manuscript, published on @Graefe’s Archive for Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology, assessing the #performance of several clinically available #riboflavin ophthalmic formulations for corneal cross-linking. The use of a #theranostic UV-A device has empowered #precise, non-invasive, measurements of riboflavin permeating the human cornea in epi-off and epi-on delivery protocols enhancing understanding on treatment outcomes. We have demonstrated the significant impact of riboflavin product variability on outcomes in CXL treatment elucidating variations in formulations, manufacturing processes and primary packaging among different products.
