Warranty Issue in LG Egypt. An LG 50UT80006LB TV was purchased on 13-1-2025. From the first use, a bright green pixel was noticed that remained fixed and did not respond to any content displayed. On 14-1-2025, Raya Company was contacted for a return. They agreed to the return on the condition that there was a report from LG stating that the TV had a manufacturing defect and needed to be returned. On 14-1-2025, LG was contacted, the problem was explained, and a technician was sent to create a report for a possible return or exchange. However, the response from LG's service website was that the service was complete and there was no problem with the TV. On 19-1-2025, I contacted LG's complaints department again because the department responsible for the warranty had not issued a report on the TV's condition. They stated that there was no problem with the TV and asked me to file a complaint regarding this response. The complaint number is VCU250119072702_01. On 20-1-2025, LG's complaints department responded stating that the presence of a bright green pixel that remains fixed and does not respond to any content displayed is acceptable and does not constitute a product defect, and therefore, a replacement or return is not required.
