July 2024 was challenging for our recruitment team at Taizo.in. We didn’t meet our client’s(manufacturers) hiring needs, and that led to a crucial review meeting. We had to dig deep—what changed? Where did we go wrong? After hearing out each team member, it became clear: the problem wasn’t our strategy. It was our team members' mindset. People were spotting reasons for not delivering instead of seeing the opportunities in front of them. So, we shifted our focus. We reminded the team that the quality of our internal dialogue directly impacts our performance. Instead of thinking about what’s stopping us, we started thinking about what’s possible. You become what you constantly think about. And here we are, on August 20, 2024—back on track and already surpassing our monthly targets by 30%. How do we operate as an insights technology company, and do we have a ping-pong table? I’ve always hated office politics and people who talk their way into moving up. From my perspective, only two things matter at work: getting results and working as a team. When you define your ideal customer and the problem you’re solving for them, things become simple. In our case: - Our engineering team builds a product that helps agencies run efficient quantitative surveys. - Our support team assists agencies throughout the entire process, ensuring high-quality insights. - Our sales team finds and attracts similar agencies that we know we can help the most. At the end of the day, if our clients/agencies are extracting amazing insights and standing out in front of their clients, we win as well! We are here to help in every possible way, from tech to sharing a pint! When we bring results for our clients and work as a team, the rest is irrelevant. Where you work, when you work, what you wear, whether you give compliments to your boss, or if you have drinks with colleagues—it’s all irrelevant. My job is to create an environment in Peekator where our team can achieve results so that our clients/agencies can win. And that’s it! Regarding ping-pong, yes, there are a couple of tables. We sometimes play, but who cares. 🚶🏼
