This issue is more pressing than ever, and we urge the Queensland Government to take swift and decisive action. The Climate Council's alarming forecast indicates that 6.5% of homes in Queensland will be effectively uninsurable by 2030, a stark contrast to the 3.3% projected for New South Wales. This disparity highlights the urgency for comprehensive reform to ensure insurance remains accessible and affordable for all Queenslanders.
