Pros and cons of working with a third-party Recruiter, let’s break it down. PROS: - You have a trusted source directly recommending you to the hiring team - Sometimes the company doesn’t post their role and only relies on targeted recruiting efforts by a third-party Recruiter - You have someone to look out for your best interests when it comes to negotiating an offer - You’ll have someone looking out for other opportunities for you CONS: - Just because you speak with a Recruiter, doesn’t mean they’re going to present you to their client (you are free to apply directly if they say they’re not going to present you). Companies pay third-party Recruiters to find them the right person, and unfortunately not everyone is the right fit.

CONSTRUCTION Internal Recruitment Plan Specialist - Helping CONTRACTORS build effective, successful INTERNAL Recruiting Departments the RIGHT way!
Do you HATE recruiter fees? People tell me all the time they don't want to pay recruiter fees, they don't have an effective internal recruiting department, and they think it can't be that hard. Then they hire a person to thumb through Linked-In and place Indeed ads. And yet it still isn't getting the results they want. WHY? Recruiting is complicated, time consuming, and it requires a skillset much greater than charm! Recruiting is psychological at its core. Anyone can thumb through Linked-In and on occasion turn up a nugget. Having a well laid out plan that is based in YEARS of recruiting experience is no match for someone who has basic experience. How much has "Trying to figure it out" cost you so far? (More than my fees, I can assure you!) I will train your team while give them the tools and support needed to do what your company needs them to do! It is AMAZING what can be done! Call me and lets talk about it: Megan, 828-974-2273

Recruitment Made Easy - (The Wohl Group) Ranked #1 HR/Recruitment creator in Canada 🇨🇦 | 1000+ Candidates Supported | Actively hiring for 100+ companies |
I don't think people really understand how painful it can be to be a third party recruiter. Our clients tell us there is an offer coming and then vanish for days and weeks on end expecting us to keep a candidate "warm". Companies reach out to us for support, get us to draw up proposals and then vanish without a trace. Candidates send 50 DMs when they want a response but when we reach out to them with questions it's a ghost town. Our clients tell us they will pay us in 30 days and take an extra 30 because they can. Companies collect our resumes as a "comparison" and then hire internally. Candidates leverage our clients against their own employers for counteroffers. The list goes on... Trust me when I tell you this, third party recruiters don't want to be the bad guy. Most of what we deal with is so far out of our hands. _______________________________ If you like this post don't forget to sign up to my FREE Newsletter! https://lnkd.in/gET8B2jH #recruitment #hiringnow #hiringtips #jobs #careers

With nearly a decade of experience in recruiting and running a fully cycle desk, I can tell you from experience that there is no easy way to source qualified candidates. Do job postings work? Sure they do, but if they worked well, the recruiting industry would be out of business. In my experience of using job postings, I typically had to sift through dozens of resumes from candidate's that are not even close to being qualified for the job that I posted. I personally gave up on job postings about 2 years ago. Once again, I know that they can work, but the reality is that in order to find the qualified candidates you need to dig deep and do the hard work. A lot of recruiters think they can just generate job postings, send out bulk emails and scroll LinkedIn to find the qualified candidate. This does work, but once again, if you are not targeting the correct audience it's a waste of time. At Solid Rock Recruiting LLC we do the "hard work" to find qualified candidates. We specialize in targeted out reach that goes beyond the keyboard. Our client partners recently have been impressed with our ability to bring them qualified candidates in a timely manner. If your company is struggling to find qualified talent reach out to Solid Rock Recruiting LLC to see if we can help you out. (605)502-1388

I help fill challenging vacancies that others can’t - Ask me how 📩 RecFest 2023 Speaker 🎪 | Recruiter 🦄 |
Katrina Collier spoke on her launch party earlier today about how important the kick off meeting is for internal recruiters to find the right people and it 100% is! But, it struck a cord with me. I speak to so many internal recruiters who will say they work with partnering recruitment agencies, but they are so bad. Well, news flash, you could not recruit with success without that kick off meeting, so you can't just chuck a job spec at another recruiter and expect success. I say this every time I work with any internal recruitment function now. You will not get success from an agency unless you consider them a partner and give them that kick off meeting as well! Please, please, please, take Katrina's advice and remember how important that kick off meeting is, for you and for your partners as well as helping your managers and business recruit. Shout out to Katrina Collier for putting this out there! #recruitment #recruiting
