Some notable points: - Historic Agreement: The EU has completed a lengthy and intense negotiation (38 hours) to agree on rules for AI use. This is a big deal because it's the first time a whole continent has established such rules. - Trilogue Process: The final agreement was reached after discussions among three key EU bodies: the EU Parliament, the EU Council, and the EU Commission. This process is called a "trilogue." - Aim of the AI Act:The AI Act is not just a set of rules; it's meant to be a boost for EU startups and researchers in AI.
