🐪 Hump-day hot take 🐪 On-site = working in the office 5 days a week Hybrid = working partially in the office and partially at home Remote = working from home only If you say the job is Remote but you expect people to live nearby and occasionally come to the office, it's not remote. If you say the job is Hybrid and finish the sentence with "employees can work from home one day a week," it's the equivalent of Summer Fridays. Pre-2020, this was a nice treat. Today, it's not going to get you far. 1yMy experience so far in the hunt is that almost everyone expects three days in office. As someone who moved further out during corona and then only had to be in office once a week, it's a different world out there.
