Thanks for the Insights and update Wandile Sihlobo. I strongly believe this is indeed one of the biggest economic sectors that can create many more jobs for our economy alongside providing resilience to food security especially in the more informal sectors, where marginalized communities who get hit the most by inflation and other general costs of modern living pressures become more vulnerable, unstable and high risk areas of South Africa. Alongside this sub sector of our economy, I generally believe that South Africa's economy could do so much better (especially in terms of reducing unemployment rates and increasing our GDP) if more focus and allocation of resources were to be directed towards revitalizing, supporting, strengthening and innovatively creating stronger local supply chain linkages in our Primary and Secondary Economic sectors. #SouthAfricasEconomy #Agriculture #FoodSystems #Infrastructure #YouthUnemployment
