It should be an obsession for companies to provide the "best" place to work in the opinion of their employees. Emphasis on “the opinion of their employees”. However, the assessment of the best place to work most of the time resides in the opinion of a ranking hired to present this metric. And companies' obsession becomes appearing in the ranking and not in the opinion of employees. A slightly different ranking appears from time to time, and this one, which has existed since 2009 can be a good barometer to know where the best places to work are. This is a ranking based on people's opinions. At first glance, I come with two impressions: the first is that Linkedin is in position 74. And the second is that there is no car manufacturer in the top 100 positions. It is worth investigating further to find out why. Enjoy it. #greatplacestowork #workingenvironment #collaboratorshappiness

Managing Director at MLP | Top UK Martech Agency | Rewards | Loyalty | Partnerships | Delighting Customers | Delivering Results | Creating Positive Emotions |
What % of people would say where they work is a great? 🤔 In the typical UK company only 54% of people would say they work for a great company. 🙁 Last week, The Marketing Lounge Partnership was certified as a great place to work by Great Place To Work UK with 92% of people stating that they think it's a great place to work. 🎉 The graph below made me smile with delight 😁 but also made me sad 😢 with the thought of how little some companies invest in culture and making their staff feel great. According to Forbes, the top 100 companies certified as a great place to work in the USA outperformed companies in terms of revenue and stock market performance by a multiple of four. Some of the things that came out of the survey really warmed my heart 💜 💜 💜 😍 95% of MLP employees said that ‘People care about each other here’ 😇 93% of employees say ‘I can be myself here’ 🌟 93% of employees say ‘Our customers would rate the service we deliver as ‘excellent’ 👍 92% of employees say ‘Management is competent at running the business’ 💪 91% of employees say ‘Management is approachable and easy to talk to’ 🕺 91% of employees say ‘This is a fun place to work’ 😙 87% Trust index Score which is 22% above the certification requirement. This recognition is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of every single member of our amazing team. Together, we have built a culture that we can all be proud of. But, we're not stopping.....this is just the start of our journey. The team have given us some areas that we need to improve too, so the amazing Joanne Bowyer, our head of people, who embodies our culture, is on the case make us an even better place to work. 🏆 #greatplacetoworkuk #culture #lovelygraph

Strategic HR Partner | People and Culture Leader | Global Compensation & Rewards Expert | HR Process Optimisation | Employee Engagement | Diversity and Inclusion | HR Data & Analytics
🌟 Exploring New Opportunities 🌟 Less than a month left in my contract with the brilliant team at Eadon Consulting Ltd! It has been a joy working with all of you—truly a warm and welcoming company. Together, we've completed some amazing projects that I believe will significantly boost performance and enhance our corporate culture. Our experience with flexible and supportive part-time arrangements has been especially successful. This flexibility is undoubtedly the future of business! Companies no longer require employees to be in the office 100% of the time when they can excel while working remotely. During my time working in UK, I've been seeing a really great attitude towards flexible work arrangements, which are approached differently here. Whether it's part-time hours, job sharing, or adjusting schedules to accommodate personal responsibilities, I've seen firsthand how these practices can significantly enhance employee well-being and satisfaction, benefiting both employees and employers alike. I hope that more businesses will recognize the value of these practices and prioritize them to create a more supportive and productive workplace culture. The majority of professionals prioritize work-life balance, choosing roles that complement their lifestyles rather than dictate them. Looking ahead, I'm excited to dive into new opportunities starting this September. I'm open to both part-time and full-time roles, fixed-term projects, or any challenging and interesting experiences that come my way, whether in the UK, Ukraine, USA, or anywhere worldwide. August will be a time for a bit of personal downtime, but I'm also open to short-term projects or immediate starts if the right opportunity arises. I'm passionate about finding a company that values innovation, flexibility, and a supportive team environment. Let's connect! Feel free to reach out with any opportunities or questions. Your insights and connections are greatly appreciated as I navigate this exciting new chapter. Here's to new beginnings and finding the perfect match! #FlexibleWork #HRBP #GlobalOpportunities #CareerGrowth

LinkedIn's annual Top Companies report is eagerly awaited by professionals across industries, offering insights into the most desirable workplaces globally. However, for those in the hospitality sector, there's a glaring absence – not a single hospitality business graces the list. Hospitality, encompassing hotels, restaurants, and travel services, is a vital sector of the global economy, employing millions and serving as a cornerstone of leisure and business activities. Yet, when it comes to recognition as top employers, hospitality businesses seem to fall short in the eyes of LinkedIn's evaluators. So, what factors contribute to this disparity? Firstly, the nature of work in hospitality differs significantly from traditional office-based roles, which often dominate the Top Companies list. While tech giants and finance firms offer perks like on-site gyms and financial incentives, hospitality positions often involve irregular hours, physical demands, and customer-facing responsibilities. These aspects may not align with the criteria typically used to evaluate workplace desirability, leading to hospitality businesses being overlooked. However, the absence of hospitality businesses from LinkedIn's Top Companies report does not accurately reflect the industry's value or its commitment to creating positive workplace experiences. Many hospitality employers prioritize employee well-being, offer competitive benefits, and foster inclusive and supportive work environments. From boutique hotels to multinational restaurant chains, there are countless examples of hospitality businesses that excel in nurturing talent and driving employee engagement. The omission of hospitality businesses from LinkedIn's Top Companies report highlights the need for a more inclusive and nuanced approach to evaluating workplace desirability. While the challenges and perceptions facing the hospitality industry are unique, its contributions to the global economy and commitment to fostering talent deserve recognition and appreciation. As the landscape of work continues to evolve, embracing diversity in the definition of top employers will be essential for accurately reflecting the richness and complexity of the modern workplace. #LinkedInTopCompanies #Hospitality #Hotels #HospitalityRecruitment #Lovewhatyoudo #saynotoboringinterviews Organic Recruitment Ltd
