We are so proud of Geraldine Thompson, resident at Life Care Center of Orange Park, for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's Senior Clay County Pageant! Geraldine was an elementary school teacher, a published author, creator of the curriculum for the first public kindergarten in Alabama, director of the YMCA, president of the Women's Division Junior Chamber of Commerce, president of the Ladies Auxiliary at Faulkner University, founder of the Seminole Child Enrichment Center, a Pink Lady volunteer at Baptist Hospital, a Sunday school teacher, a member of the OWLS group of Argyle –– and she helped establish educational resource centers for four different churches. Phew! We aren't surprised that she received such a prestigious award. Congratulations, Geraldine!
