It's #TeleProTuesday! ⛳
At Tele-Pro Communications, we aren't just about hitting deadlines... we love making a difference! We hustle hard at work, but we also enjoy giving back to our community and industry.
This YouTube video (Videographer: Carlos J Cuadros) is a flashback to last year's The American Institute of Architects (AIA) LRGV Chapter charity golf outing. Our team enjoyed hitting the greens and connecting with industry colleagues for a great cause. We can't wait to see what all 2024 has in store!
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) extends beyond public relations and represents a strategic imperative for businesses. Engaging in community and industry initiatives offers beneficial outcomes.
Firstly, CSR fosters a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and team spirit. Participating in volunteer activities or supporting local causes instills a sense of purpose and collaboration within the workforce, leading to increased morale and productivity.
Secondly, active CSR initiatives enhance a company's reputation and brand image. Sponsoring local events, donating to charitable organizations, or promoting sustainable practices demonstrate a commitment to values beyond profit maximization. This attracts both ethically conscious consumers and skilled individuals seeking an employer aligned with their personal values.
Furthermore, CSR facilitates knowledge sharing and innovation within the industry. Participating in conferences, mentoring programs, and industry associations exposes the team to fresh perspectives and emerging trends. This not only benefits your individual company but also contributes to the collective advancement of the industry as a whole.

What started as a promising Saturday for our charity golf outing turned into an unexpected challenge when my sister (Elizabeth Nottling) and I got the call at 6:30am that the course was flooded from the rain the night before. But, in just a couple of hours, we were able to pivot and turn the day into a fantastic indoor trivia event with a full meal, raffle, and silent auction!
The transition wasn't easy, but it was a powerful reminder of the importance of adaptability and resilience in the face of adversity. Instead of getting frustrated with the weather, we focused on making the most of the situation. By coming together and thinking creatively, we were able to ensure the success of the event and continue supporting our cause. The majority of registered golfers still attended the event and all had a great time with our impromptu trivia challenge.
This experience serves as a valuable lesson for all aspects of life and work: when faced with unexpected obstacles, don't get mad or give up. Find a way to make it work, look forward, and take action. The ability to adapt and persevere can turn any challenge into an opportunity for success.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported us! Your enthusiasm and flexibility made this event a memorable one. Together, we showed that with a positive mindset and quick thinking, we can overcome any hurdle. 💪🌟

Today we're sitting down with Mr Barty Hills, Head of Rugby and Assistant Housemaster at RHS. Barty is a former pupil and sports scholar at RHS, where he played rugby, football and cricket, and was captain of the first rugby team.
We talk to Barty about what life was like for him at school, why he switched degrees, how he coped with a brain tumour diagnosis, what motivated him to set up a charity rugby sevens team, and most importantly, how a luxury super yacht played a part in bringing him back to RHS...
