The Compassionate Overdose Response Checklist: 📲 product selection: ask your state for RiVive (3 mg) or IM (0.4 mg) naloxone and to purchase from nonprofit sources that give back to the community. do not use products higher than 4 mg! 🌬 rescue breathing: use just enough naloxone to restore breathing, give rescue breaths in between doses! 💙 communicate care for the person: speak in a calm, quiet tone. if not in withdrawal, people may consider additional resources post-overdose!

Yesterday, on National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, I spent time reading numerous posts on LinkedIn of the profound impact and personal tragedies this crisis has caused people and communities. Fentanyl continues to devastate lives, and the urgency to address this epidemic has never been greater. It doesn't discriminate young/old, rich/poor, inner city or the suburbs, fentanyl is killing Americans at an alarming rate. At VeriChem, we’re driven by the belief that every life lost to fentanyl is one too many. Our work is focused on providing the tools that can make a difference in detecting and analyzing this dangerous substance, empowering those on the front lines to act swiftly and effectively. Enemies We all have them. We all wish them the worst. And often even work towards their ruin. But we shouldn’t.
