DePuy Synthes CMF had a wonderful experience at Lifenet Health with Dr. Richard Tyrell, M.D, Dr. Eva Dentcheva, MD from the Center for Plastic Surgery at Sentara Fort Norfolk working to provide the plastic surgery residents the opportunity for in depth learning about managing Craniofacial trauma this past weekend. Dr. David Powers, MD, DMD, FACS started off the day with an excellent presentation and then the learners spent the day in the lab practicing and perfecting their techniques for managing facial trauma. We were treated to a biomaterials lecture and tour of the Lifenet facility as well. It was a day full of learning. Thank you to our local team Brian Jones and Thomas Markley for all of their hard work and effort in making this a success.
