The journey towards LGBTQ+ justice, equality, and inclusion, has never been easy. We’ve faced countless challenges, naysayers, and setbacks. But, with the support of our allies, we’ve persevered. Over the last two decades, we’ve achieved what once seemed impossible: workplace protections, marriage equality, greater representation across every major platform, and a shift in hearts and minds towards greater acceptance and inclusion of our community. As we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month, it’s important we remember our progress and our accomplishments. They remind us how strong our community can be and renew us for the important work ahead. And let’s always remember that together, we’re powerful. Together, we can build a future centered on inclusion and belonging. Together, no one can stop us. #LGBTQHistoryMonth

June is Pride Month–a time to celebrate the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community and their progress in pursuit of equality and acceptance. It’s a time for reflection, education, and connection. Manchester Industries remains an ally and offers a supportive workplace where all employees feel safe, valued, and included. One simple way we can create a more accepting workplace is by adding pronouns to email signatures. Pronouns are how we identify ourselves apart from our names. Sharing your pronouns first can set a norm and encourage others to do the same. We don’t just talk about our commitment to inclusion, we choose to model it. #PrideMonth #DiversityAndInclusion
