NEW RESEARCH PUBLISHED cc Lifesten Health I am thrilled to announce that our research titled "EXAMINING THE COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS FOR TRADITIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO CARDIOVASCULAR SCREENING IN RWANDAN HEALTHCARE: A MIXED-METHODS STUDY WITH A FOCUS ON LIFESTEN HEALTH" has been published in the ISAR Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences! Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a major global health concern, and our study, co-authored with Ndoli Peace, RDN, MGHD and Gabriel Oke, delves into the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of traditional vs. tech-enabled cardiovascular screening methods in Rwanda. Our findings highlight the potential of technology-based screening via Lifesten Health in offering greater efficiency with minimal equipment and training requirements, while also addressing the challenges of digital illiteracy and material shortages in conventional methods. Investing in digital literacy and enhancing healthcare provider training are key to reducing the burden of CVDs in Rwanda.
