Last week, someone in one of my leadership development programs said 'I'm sick of being told we need to be resilient' and it stuck with me. It's 'keep calm and carry on' morphing, post-pandemic, into 'just be resilient, alright?'. Personal resilience is crucial, but leaders need to make sure they're not turning it into a stick to beat people with or a cliché that means nothing. We need leaders who support their teams in the right way and understand that collective resilience matters too and to do that teams need to feel valued and included. #personaldevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #resilience #teamdevelopment #leadershipcoaching
