MSCL-Engineering is performing heavy tests on the ‘Integrated Derailleur’. This new design offers unique performances:   *Very compact design: in both lateral footprint the derailleur remains within the frame. It produces a native protection. In ground clearance, as the guiding pulley is located high downstream the cassette.   *Easy to operate: As the cable loop or direction cable pulley are deleted, the shifting friction is reduced to a minimum. The cable root is straight. The effort is so reduced that the shifting finger length can be divided by 2. Shifter can be redesigned to produce a full speed shifting in one push!   *Very accurate: as the cable route is straight and as the derailleur is rigidly mounted onto the frame in front of the cassette, the shifting accuracy is very high even under full load. Shifting under full load is done easily.   *Reliable: as number of teeth engaged is higher than actual design, the stress per teeth is reduced, thus increasing the reliability of the chain and the cassette.   **Rear wheel simple to dismantle: As the Integrated derailleur is positioned in front of the cassette, dismantling the rear wheel is easy.       *Improves rear shock performances: As the non dampered inertia is reduced.
