In an era where brands must become our planet's allies, how can we achieve social equity in fashion? In the run up to our 2030+ Agenda of action for people, planet and prosperity. We have to RE/define standards through research and use the power of fashion as a platform to provide accessibility to the community. We are all human, before brands, products and revenue. Myself and an array of global talented design activists have been given the task to design a more adaptive future of fashion, challenging the 'norms' of sizing, product purpose and technicality through more inclusive fashion design techniques. Thanks to VORN — The Berlin Fashion Hub and Zalando for our community of support Markus Breitsameter, Grace Stratton, Sema Gedik, Rut Turró, Jana Beck, Muchaneta ten Napel, Serena Bonomi and so many more that have introduced us to a world of optimistic design solutions and mindsets to approach this exciting challenge ahead! "Designing with empathy may not be the best approach to design. Empathy relies on us having the ability to imagine fully what it is like to live in someone's body, skin, mind and soul. Instead designing with vulnerability and understanding what we don't know, creates space for those conversations and learnings that are so very important." - Sinéad Burke. We must learn, we must listen, we must support and we must provide visability. #advocate #inclusivefashion #futureoffashion
