Today’s Holiday Activity: A Strengths Advent Calendar One of my daughter’s favorite traditions is the excitement of opening an advent calendar, day by day, in anticipation of the holiday. This version takes that same joyful idea and turns it into a celebration of your team’s strengths throughout December! Objective: Celebrate individual and team strengths daily in the lead-up to the holidays. What You’ll Need: An advent calendar with numbered slots, envelopes, or small boxes. Strengths-based messages or small treats for each day. How It Works: 1. Prepare the Calendar: Fill each slot with a note recognizing a specific strength of a team member and how it contributed to the team’s success this year. Include a small treat, if you like, for an extra festive touch. 2. Daily Recognition: Open one slot each day in December, or during your celebration, and read the note aloud. Take a moment to reflect and appreciate the person whose strength is being celebrated. This activity spreads gratitude and positivity throughout the season, building anticipation and connection as you honor each team member’s unique contributions!
