Reflecting on the advancements in #technology, I'm proud to share how we're leveraging ROVs for ballast water and potable water tank inspections at Air Control Entech. Through our close working partnership with Hydromea, we are not only supporting the development of the innovative EXRAY ROV but also commercially deploying it to bring about a significant transformation in these critical #inspection tasks.
#BallastWater and potable water tanks are essential components in maritime operations, but inspecting them poses significant challenges. Traditional methods often involve sending personnel into #ConfinedSpace — a practice fraught with safety risks and logistical complexities. This is where the EXRAY ROV steps in.
Our collaboration with Hydromea has resulted in the creation of the EXRAY ROV, a state-of-the-art robotic solution specifically tailored for these environments. The EXRAY ROV can navigate through the intricate confines of ballast and potable water tanks, capturing high-resolution imagery, video and comprehensive data such as UT measurements without the need for human entry. This not only enhances #safety by keeping people out of harm’s way but also increases the efficiency and accuracy of our inspections. Couple that with several class certifications and we are further reducing the need to put people on assets.
At Air Control Entech, our mission is to eliminate the need to put people in hazardous environments using #robotics. The deployment and ongoing development of the EXRAY ROV in partnership with Hydromea is a testament to this commitment. We're excited about the future and the continued advancements that will further enhance our ability to serve our clients.
