It is very interesting idea to convert oil to two basic molecules, ethane and propane. Just to solve a problem with co2 footprint and other ecological questions that are connected a steam cracker. You should use or ethane steam cracker or propane dehydrogenation to get the highest selectivity to ethylene or propylene.
