With my background, it's clear to me that marketing is a social science. Every week I learn a new software, run a statistical test or use narrative analysis techniques I learned Clark University while in the psychology PhD program. Art is a tool marketers use, but the numbers are what matter. Then again, with engineers for parents I tend to see everything through a science lens. What do you think?
