I'm concerned about the recruitment process where department heads aren't involved in interviewing candidates. This raises accountability issues when new hires underperform. Who bears responsibility when intake doesn't meet expectations? Moreover, how can HR accurately determine the department head's preferences for intake without their direct input? This approach seems counterproductive and inefficient.
