Adoption, Trust, and Transformation: Lessons from the Indo-French AI Event
I had the privilege of participating in a workshop on "Adoption, Trust, Digital Transformation" arranged by ProductNation/iSPIRT, La French Tech India & French Embassy in India / Ambassade de France en Inde, where I presented on the critical aspects of building trust and driving digital transformation in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape.
My inputs were on Artificial Intelligence: Resonating with Reason. I emphasized on amplifying human intelligence, ethical considerations, and taking a rational approach to AI.
I highlighted the challenges faced by companies in light of Generative AI, including:
- Integrity and security of source data
- Biased information
- Intellectual property
- Reliable and responsible usage
I emphasized on:
- Collaboration with Ecosystem: Emphasized the importance of collaboration with multiple stakeholders bringing diverse opinions. Shared the example of Confiance.AI.
- Regulation: Discussed the AI Act, a legal framework proposed by the EU to promote trustworthy AI. Mentioned that Sopra Steria signed the AI Pact on September 10th, 2024.
- Public-Private Partnership: Highlighted collaboration and public-private partnership as the road to success. Stressed the importance of including marginalized society in growth initiatives and democratizing AI for inclusion.
A significant part of my presentation was dedicated to the Confiance.ai initiative, which aims to design, deploy, maintain, and qualify mission-critical AI systems. This project, in cooperation with major French research initiatives like ANITI Toulouse and Data IA, is set to develop EU-compliant solutions for industrial partners and support the definition of new standards under the AI Act.
Other workshop participants were Pragya Misra from OpenAI, Marine Al Dahdah from CEMS-EHESS, Patrice Tromparent from French Ministry for Armed Forces, Juliette Mattioli from Thales, & Confiance.AI Vivek Abraham from iSPIRT Foundation & Jacopo Domenicucci from Dartmouth College.
It was an extremely insightful and meaningful session. A big thank you to the organizers, speakers, and participants for such an enriching experience. Special thanks to the iSPIRT Foundation and our French partners for their collaboration and support.
Looking forward to implementing these insights and contributing to the future of digital public infrastructures!
