For opening different doors of opportunity to be able to maximize the services and assistance of the DOST. Truly, this government office embodies the #ScienceForThePeople in Providing Solutions and Opening Opportunities.💙🤍 During the National Youth Science, Technology, and Innovation Festival event, I learned a lot of valuable insights and perspectives from DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. while having a very fun, pala-biro and engaging conversation with him. He also shared the reason behind the theme or tagline of DOST as a government office: 'Providing Solutions and Opening Opportunities.' Similar to Secretary Solidum's innovative stand and mindset, I personally believe that it is essential to 'Fall in love with the Problem, rather than the Solution. A good problem is also a good opportunity for us to provide a tangible solution. We just need to Assess, Acknowledge, and Accept the problem first in order to offer a feasible, suitable, and practical solution. This is one of the core principles of Science and Technology. Dahil sa Syensya at Teknolohiya, ang Posibilidad ay maaaring maging Realidad.🧪💡 #ScienceFestival🧪 #OneDOST4U☝️ #STEM🔥 #VIBE✨ #ScienceForThePeople👨🔬👩🔬 #TaraNaNYSTIFNa🎉 #PILIpinas🇵🇭 https://lnkd.in/gdNZVbsv

Grade 2 Technology Meets Exploration! Our Grade 2 students had an exciting Technology class today, integrating their Unit of Inquiry, Where We Are In Place and Time, with real-life applications of IT skills! They explored how modern-day explorers book their travels online by researching different air agents and even practiced booking tickets through the GoZayaan website. As they dive into learning about famous explorers and their biographies, students reflected on how technology now supports exploration in our modern era. What a fantastic way to connect the past with the present!

Today, I had the privilege to address over 1000 first-year students at Mawuko SHS in Ho. During the session, I delved into the transformative journey of Dr. Ben Carson, with particular emphasis on his mother's pivotal role, which served as a turning point in his academics and boosted his confidence. I emphasized the value of cultivating a growth mindset over a fixed mindset and stressed the importance of staying committed to the path of success, drawing an analogy from Aristotle and Mount Olympus. Additionally, I highlighted ten benefits of striving for good grades. #CCTInscriptions #AwakeningGiants #GrowthMindset
