As we gather to celebrate the birth of our great nation, we at Line\5 reflect on the values of freedom, courage, and unity that this day represents. Independence Day is a time to come together with family and friends, to appreciate the liberties we cherish, and to remember the sacrifices made by those who have fought for our freedoms. Let us take a moment to celebrate the spirit of resilience and hope that defines America. In observance of Independence Day, our office will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. This week we mark another Independence Day where many will gather with friends and family to celebrate the holiday. What is the significance of this day? The Fourth of July is Independence Day for the United States. Before becoming a country, the U.S. was a group of colonies owned by Great Britain. On July 4th, 1776 the founding fathers approved the Declaration of Independence and announced their independence from Great Britain. Thus, beginning our country’s journey as an independent nation.
