🌟 As we find ourselves in the heart of National Volunteer Month, I'm reminded of the beautiful truth: when we align ourselves with a mission, we inherently commit to making the world a better place. Consider for a moment the quiet power of a helping hand extended to a neighbor in need, the warmth of a smile shared at a local shelter, or the sense of purpose found in championing causes close to our hearts. These simple yet profound acts of service form the very foundation of positive change. Dr. Joe Dispenza reminds us that, "When you're in service to a mission or a purpose, you're committed to changing the world for the better. And that can happen on the scale of your world - your family; your company; your community." My passion for serving others is an intrinsic part of who I am. It resides at the very core of my being, shaping my values, guiding my actions, and defining my purpose. I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to make a difference, to leave a lasting impact on the world. Together, let's redefine the possibilities of service. Let's embrace the transformative power of collective action and uplift our communities, one act of kindness at a time. 🌍✨ #CuratorofChange #ThePhoenixRetreat #ThePhoenixAsheville #WellnessRetreat #Asheville #NC #NationalVolunteerMonth #ServeWithPurpose #CommunityImpact #ChangeTheWorld

International Volunteer Day – A Day to Celebrate Changemakers! 🌍✨ Today, we celebrate International Volunteer Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of volunteers worldwide. This day highlights how the collective efforts of individuals can achieve what even the most talented organizations or individuals alone cannot. Volunteers bring together passion, dedication, and teamwork to tackle challenges, uplift communities, and create a ripple effect of positive change. Their selfless acts often bridge gaps that neither governments nor private organizations can fill. 💡 Why Should You Volunteer? • It’s a powerful way to address societal gaps and empower those in need. • It fosters collaboration and innovation by uniting diverse talents for a common cause. • The satisfaction of making an impact goes beyond any personal achievement. 🌟 How You Can Get Involved: Start small. Offer your time, knowledge, or resources to causes that matter to you. Together, we can create something extraordinary. Tell us in the comments: What’s one cause you’re passionate about? Let’s spark a conversation that inspires action. #InternationalVolunteerDay #VolunteerForChange #Changemakers #CommunityEmpowerment #GlobalImpact #GivingBack #VolunteerSpirit #SocialGood #BeTheChange #TogetherWeCan #VolunteerWork #InspiringAction #EvisionTechnoserve

A volunteer chooses to contribute his time, effort and resources for a good cause. In this sense, an employee is also similar to a volunteer. Employees voluntarily choose to work for a particular company. They use their lives to vote for an organisation. Yes, employees receive monetary rewards -- but if you think about it, there are actually millions ways to earn money. For superstar performers, there are a lot of choices. As soon as we understand that people are not purely coin operated when they make their career decisions, the difficult question then becomes: how do you make them stay and engaged? From William Stixrud's parenting bible "The Self-Driven Child", I learn that people only care when they think they can controI and contribute to the outcome. So instead of trying to manage others, I think of my role as an ally supporting my child, my colleagues, or even customers so that they can manage themselves. It actually takes a lot of burdens off because being an ally means you don't have to be a know-it-all and give all the solutions. You can be an open book so that others can point out any fallacies. You can offer your fellow human beings a life raft every step along the way, while still respecting their choices to trial and error. You can say "I don't know" bravely and engage in the fun of "let's figure out together". These are almighty powerful and liberating in this ever changing world.
