The problem of changing jobs too often is the same reason why consultants in most cases are not good for the company: You don't get the consequences of your actions. When we decide on how to implement a product, it takes a few months, or sometimes even years to see if that was a good decision or not. Some examples:  - The product does not solve the customer's pain? - It was not a problem when we developed it - we had no customers to test with. - The feature does not scale? - It was not a problem when I worked on it - it worked fine for 3 testers we had. To be better at what we do, we need to revisit our decisions and live through the pain caused by them. One way to do so is to simply stay long enough for the consequences to show themselves. Note: I am not advocating for staying at the company at all costs. It is unfortunate, but in many environments, you would be more appreciated at another place.

Beginning week three #lookingforwork with a deep dive into individual companies - moving away from the jobs networks for a breather. In the last few days I've dropped my name into the hat for #databaseadministrator #engagementofficer #complianceofficer #customerexperiencelead #riskcontroladministrator #projectadministrator #executiveassistant #HRadministrator #communicationscoordinator #commercialofficer #capitalandreportingactuary When sitting down and applying for work - there are some standard #jobs I'm going for - I think I've got the #skills so let's see if that's of interest to employers and I put an #application through. But there are some jobs that spring up from the periphery where I think...'me?...an Operational Delivery Team Manager, not sure about that...' and then I think - 'well why not?' Upon reading the job spec a lot of the deliverables for some of the jobs I have found have a great many qualities I think I can deliver. I'm still experiencing a lot of rejections from some of these applications but that's part of the journey discovering what applications hit and what misses. Looking for work is a difficult journey but that doesn't stop it from being an interesting one. As ever, if anyone is interested in the skillset and experience I have then please do reach out :)

Now let me remind you this organization I have never known anybody but still. The director visited my family gathering and he started to be friendly however things took an ugly turn when I was not given a proper training on the handover and the existing lead resigned. The events sequenced as below: - The junior team members said we are doing everything and you just review the numbers, though when asking questions about the workings they reported that we can't explain the work as it becomes double work for us. - The supervisor mentioned that this can't be like this as you are disturbing the team members. - The team members said you don't do anything let us handle the work you just monitor. - The supervisor mentioned that you do things independently, with no support from other team members if any questions try to solve and deep dive yourself. - The shift starts at 9 am but the onshore manager would like to connect in the night around 11pm in the night from home. one striking thing the supervisor mentioned that if the previous manager his head would have been in the org. there was an unsaid no poach agreement in the place and I would not have been able to hire talent from my ex org. :)
