Not only did he gain valuable knowledge, but he also made a significant business impact through a real-world assignment in Sika Vietnam as a Supply Chain Specialist. We're excited to hear his perspective! 1. What were your biggest takeaways from the Management Trainee program? The biggest takeaway from me is that this Management Trainee program firstly gave me the opportunity to come up with my own project, plan, and solution in alignment with mentor/boss also a chance to visit several production sites and warehouses. Secondly, working together with internal expert teams on projects improves mostly my management skill and other skills. And last but not least, you will get to know more people. There you can learn and exchange your knowledge of expertise, so you get a deeper understanding and broader perspectives. 2. How did the program prepare you for a career in management? This program is designed for young generations to have a deep business inside about Sika. Throughout the program you will have a mentor guiding you but at the same time he or she will let you come up with solutions by yourself. I have learned to manage projects, working with several departments, and developing my soft skills at the same time. Networking within the company is as important, sometimes you learn from people in different functions and understand their point of view. With that being said, it is a very intensive and robust program to fast track your career into management position. 3. Is this program a good fit for others? What can you tell to help them decide? If you are young, ambitious and want to challenge yourself, this program is right for you. There are plenty of opportunities in this company to shine yourself. You will be able to use all your previous knowledge and skills to adapt to real world solutions. Being part of the team or even leading the team to achieve mutual goals will highlight your contributions as well as capabilities. 4. How has this program helped you grow professionally? As I mentioned earlier, this program will enrich you with all necessities for your management career. It has been an extremely rewarding choice for me to begin my career with Sika.
