Recently, the UK government published the UK battery strategy, which aims to achieve the goal of a globally competitive battery supply chain by 2030 through a series of government initiatives.   The global demand for batteries is expected to witness significant growth in the forthcoming decades. Currently, the United Kingdom possesses certain advantages in the field of batteries: it ranks third globally in terms of research quality for industrial batteries; its electric vehicle (EV) battery startup ecosystem holds the second position in Europe and fourth worldwide based on enterprise value; and its automotive industry stands as Europe's second-largest by value, generating an annual turnover of £70 billion and employing 166,000 individuals nationwide.   The strategy proposes to strengthen the UK supply chain with help from the Automotive Transformation Fund and the UK Critical Minerals Strategy; develop international collaborations in new market opportunities; further promote energy intensive industries and accelerate grid connections; with the goal of ensuring that reform measures benefit the emerging battery sector. #energystorage #bms #gerchamp #batterymanagementsystem
