So much fun speaking at #sxsw2024 about the future of the attention economy (hint: authenticity reigns) 🙌 As a brand, you can thrive by: 💸 Re-allocating your marketing spend to creators. Use paid marketing to amplify creators’ content. 💪🏻 Empower creators to co-define how they promote your product as they know their audience best. Don’t provide a rigid brief with pre-determined messaging. 🎬 Brands are creators. Ditch overly polished content across your socials. Take people behind the scenes and produce content that centers on real people. This is the era of the micro and nano creator. And it’s an era I’m so excited to build for at Linktree!

Love this ❤️ I would also add that creators can come from unexpected places… the personal trainer turned gym owner in NYC, even with a small digital following, can drive a lot of authentic attention with the right paid amplification

Great messages that resonate with what I see too. I think it comes down to the fact that trust is getting democratized to the edges. It’s harder to know who to trust in this setting, but also the surface area for authentic micro promotion opportunities is massive by volume.
