Having a big following on multiple social media platforms is not always a luxury. In fact, managing it can be quite a nightmare... Especially if you're like me and you don't have plenty of time to create content daily. The biggest problem is that while the platforms are similar, the rules to grow are different. But as ambitious as I am, I tried the Superman approach. I thought I could create tailored content for each platform and maintain consistency. Spoiler alert: It didn't quite pan out as planned. I was delulu. It still didn't change my desire to grow on multiple platforms though. Somehow I pulled it off in less than 36months. The numbers speak for themselves: ☑ 80k contacts on WhatsApp ☑ 80k+ followers on X ☑ 30k+ on Facebook ☑ 16k+ on Instagram ☑ 10k+ on LinkedIn ☑ 5k+ on TikTok (Threads App doesn't count...) Oh, and almost 1k on my new email list—phew! 😅 How did I manage to achieve such multi-platform growth as a solo creator? Well, here’s the secret: In a kingdom where CONTENT is King, DISTRIBUTION is the town crier of the King. Create content primarily for ONE platform, and repurpose it for others! Take X, for instance. I craft my content there first, and then with a few tweaks, I publish it onto other platforms. ✔ The text becomes a script for videos ✔ Space recordings transform into bite-sized shareable content. ✔ Live videos become shorts for IG, YouTube, and TikTok. And when it comes to going live on multiple platforms, I swear Ecam Live does it everytime. Remember: Distribution is the town crier of the King.
