If a candidate I screen is really interested in the role, looked at the company website ahead of time, follows up and converses respectfully? I'm going to fast track them AND remember them the next time a great job comes around. I'm also likely to send them to other recruiters I know for added exposure. It's not because I want to hand out special treatment to some and not to others. It's because those types of candidates are the ones who land the job. They show initiative, they're engaged, and they make my job a whole lot easier. And you know what they say - the early bird gets the worm! So if you're on the hunt for your next gig, remember to do your research, be polite and responsive, and let your enthusiasm shine through. Trust me, it'll give you a major leg up. Happy job hunting, folks! #recruitment #HR #jobsearchtips #jobsearch #interviewing #hiring #linkedin #marketing #candidate #jobseeker

Dear LinkedIn Community, I encourage everyone to actively support their peers in their job search. While sharing job links is helpful, it’s even more impactful when accompanied by a personal referral. 🤝 The current job market is undeniably challenging, and I empathize with those who have been diligently searching for opportunities. I, too, have spent the last six months actively seeking employment, yet haven’t secured a single interview. It’s a full-time endeavor, and for international candidates, the hurdles can be even higher. Let’s focus on actionable steps. If you know of a role that aligns with someone’s skills and experience, consider directly connecting them with HR or talent acquisition. Your referral could make all the difference. 📩 Thank you for being part of this supportive community. Together, we can help each other thrive in our professional journeys. #jobhunting #hr #jobforyou #jobseeking #community

Helping Practice Accountants find their dream roles, with better conditions, better money, and more flexibility 🚀
As a seasoned recruitment consultant, I've seen time and time again the power of saying "yes" when searching for a new job. Embracing opportunities, even if you're not initially sure, can open doors you never imagined. Say yes to getting your CV out there, even if the firm isn't your top choice. Say yes to every interview, even if it's not a perfect fit on paper. Why? Because more offers mean more options. And options empower you to make the best decision for your career. I've seen countless candidates initially hesitant about an opportunity, only to later choose it after exploring all possibilities. Trust the process, be open to new experiences, and say yes more often. You might just find your perfect match when you least expect it. #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #SayYes James Lovegrove Senior Manager at ProTalent Phone: 0118 2081 632 WhatsApp: 0750 7266 255 Email: james@protalent.co

Looking for a job can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, especially in today's job market. Recruiters are inundated with applications, and it can be challenging to stand out. But what happens when you do catch their attention? Many recruiters will ask for your CTC and notice period, and unfortunately, the conversation often ends there. It can be frustrating, but don't let it discourage you. Keep searching, and remember that the right opportunity is out there. seems like it is as difficult as finding the correct partner😂. #jobsearch #recruitment #careertips

When I talk to people that are looking for new opportunities, many of them have a similar story. They apply for a bunch of jobs, many of them with 100+ applicants, and rarely hear back. When I talk to companies looking to hire, many of them have a similar story. They have a ton of applicants coming in but most of them are not in line with what they’re looking for. I’m not saying to abandon the job board process. It has its place. However, I am saying that adding good ole’ fashioned networking to your approach can be a helpful supplement if you’re looking for different results. #jobsearch #recruitment #networking Swanson Talent

Talent Acquisition Leader | Building High- Performing Teams | Recruitment Strategist | Leadership Hiring | Employer Branding Expert | Technical Hiring | Non Technical Hiring|
"Did you know that 60% to 70% of job opportunities never get posted in the conventional job market? Similarly, a significant portion of the talent pool remains undiscovered. For #talenthunters, actively reaching out to passive candidates unlocks a vast reservoir of potential talent. These individuals may not be actively seeking job openings but are open to exploring promising opportunities should they arise. They might possess extensive networks and could be just a referral call away, or they might be individuals who, despite their interest in new roles, lack the time to actively apply for jobs. Engaging with passive candidates broadens the scope of available talent, tapping into a resource pool that might otherwise remain untapped." #talentacquisition #headhunting #networkingtips

It can be daunting when you are older to start to look for a new role. When you have been great at what you do but you know you are ready for a new change. This is where speaking to a good recruitment consultant can really benefit you. Not only do we love hearing about the roles you have had, but we love speaking to people about the skills they have and what opportunities are available to you. Without speaking to a recruiter, I wouldn’t have had the courage to change industries in the past, but they saw more potential in me than I did in myself. They understood what their clients were looking for and why I would be a good fit for them. Which gave me the push to look at what they wanted and then to see where what I had done previously matched to their requirements. If your thinking of looking for a new role, why not talk to me, it would be great to help you to have a new start. #newbeginnings #newcareer #consultancy
