Wow! Amazing to see xCures featured in today's The White House #Moonshot update. Congratulations to Mika Newton and the xCures team on reaching this milestone with a platform enabling patients and their care team to efficiently share data to advance research and explore new treatment pathways. From the announcement: xCures, a health-data technology platform, is launching a study to enhance the collection and organization of comprehensive data for Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) and Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The study will streamline and standardize data gathering and identify patterns that can predict disease progression and treatment response, leading to more personalized treatment plans and targeted therapies. xCures pledges to maintain the data infrastructure for this study, and to make the data freely available to academic and government researchers. This will improve access and collaboration, with the ultimate goal of bringing innovation to more patients and providing a better understanding of these deadly cancers. https://lnkd.in/dnQ3vSk8
Craig Lipset . Thank you! It would not be possible without our amazing advisors and supporters.
What a fantastic bit of work! Congrats to Mika, Mark and the whole xCures team...
CACNA1A Foundation/Buffalo Initiative
1yDennis Lal has been making a similar open science data portal for aggregating and harmonizing clinical and molecular data (and resources to empower patient and their families) for CACNA1A-related disorders (rare neurodevelopmental), funded by the CACNA1A Foundation. It is launching this fall and will be the largest comprehensive dataset for this disease. It will help us understand genotype-phenotype correlations needed to spur therapeutic development.
