we always talk about global warming and then the  standard ‘it will get worse’ mantra😀. Why are there so few climate scientists explaining what actually happened in an event? Natural variability has to do its thing for forming circulation, moisture supply and causing extreme events. Better to focus on early warning systems and understand why we fail to predict these instead running another unreliable attribution exercise after a shameful failure of prediction. 🔥World on climate ‘red alert’ as major global warming indicators smashed in 2023🔥 The United Nations has issued a “red alert” warning over the climate after global temperatures broke records “by a clear margin” last year. The World Meteorlogical Organisation, a UN agency, said extreme weather events and indicators of climate change across the board were “off the charts” in 2023. Ground water temperatures to be impacted by global warming. I assumed climate change was only affecting the environment above ground.
