Stress and the impact on each person As stress and anxiety continue to impact so many peoples' daily life it is time to really listen to each person. No two people react to a situation the same way. Impact can be based on life experiences, health, how they have seen others react, and much more. As I hear from so many about mental health on a daily basis there are so many things we do not think about or consider. Even think about the impact of how people get to work (drive vs public transit and how that impacts work life balance - a 1 hour drive could easily be a 2.5-3 hour event on public transit). Why do we assume everyone drives? Different people have unique experiences even with how long a common cold can last and impacts their life. Are they a care giver, does someone in the household have health issues, and much more. If someone does not share their emotions do you assume they are ok? If they are smiling and appear happy do you check in with them as well? Talk to each person and ensure no one is put in a box and remove the need to have a one size fits all approach. #mentalhealth #leadership #diversityandinclusion #lifestylecoach
