Heading back from #Birmingham where I enjoyed learning about topics ranging from insurance regulation to generative AI at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries #LifeConference2023 this week. Thanks to Dharshini Navaratnam and Natanya Taylor for inviting me to share some thoughts on #DigitalHealth and it's role in #PreventativeCare alongside Dr Tarun Gupta and Jag Sodhi, FIA MAAA at our panel session this morning. Some top takeaways 🎯 Digital health can be integrated across primary, secondary and tertiary care to prevent ill-health and support proactive management of chronic diseases. 🎯There's no one size fits all approach to digital health. Insurers should focus on more targeted prevention strategies. 🎯 Actuaries can play a role in modelling the positive impact on health, morbidity and mortality from new tech. This is key to building the business case for insurers to invest in offering health tech to customers. Great to see you Kamilah Clarke, Rhiannon Joyce, Tony Cox, Christine Fairall, Rob Thurston, Nay Wynn, Richard Simpson, Sarah Ryan, Mairi Russell, Alexander Philp FIA 😊
Bravo Lisa! 👏👏👏
