Did you know @SEVENELEVEN had a golfwear collection....????!!! hmmm interesting....now I really would like to see their customer profile. #Hypebeast shares this TLDR: The most convenient golf collection of last year is back for another swing. After 7-Eleven delivered one of the most surprising successes of summer 2023 the brand has tapped online commentators Golf Projects, Jordan Rogers and Colin Landforce to style its retro and lifestyle inspired gear. Why It Matters: The success that 7-Eleven enjoyed last year proved that there's space for meme merch in golf, but no amount of ironic slogans can save a half-assed collection. That's ultimately why people it was so popular, which is to say: people liked the products. This year's collection delivers a lot of the same, but using influential personalities as models guarantees 7-Eleven will reach a sizable audience in an authentic way. https://lnkd.in/eCuBiR7R

Saturday is for shopping local… Stumbled on a gem this week in FourFore Golf for apparel and personlized #golf balls. It's actually founded by none other than, a former teammate of mine, Jeremy Hannah. No sales pitch necessary, I was a hopeless bachelor in need of a trendy new wave of products...the #BachelorBox 🤯 I'm not the most overly creative person, believe it or not. I like simplicity. I planned a golf trip for my bachelor party ✅ Invited all my groomsmen ✅ Bachelor Box ❌ 𝐉𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: It's revolutionary...you ready? I recently became a Wolf. Let me explain... In a world flooded with choices, it's easy to feel lost in the sea of sameness. But guess what? More and more of us are saying, "Nope, not settling for the ordinary." Instead, we're diving into a whole new trend: embracing those cool, smaller brands that pack a punch with purpose. One of the brands that I recently fell in love with is Darc Sport - https://lnkd.in/giGg_q8r I love gym clothing (I'm in the gym 7 days a week). Darc Sport is a growing brand that infuses meaning and emotion into every drop. They are a community of fitness-based consumers who are passionate about being a part of an ambitious community, that seeks the best version of themselves each day. Their drops are hyped up each month, and when they go live, they sell out in minutes. There is a FOMO element that they use to drive urgency month to month, and their products live up to the hype. Generally speaking, more and more consumers are attracted less to one-size-fits-all products. Today's consumer is more and more about authenticity and uniqueness. We want products that tell a story and make us feel like we're part of something bigger than just a purchase. So, what's driving this shift? Well, for starters, it's all about the feels. Niche brands tend to have a vibe that's hard to find in mass-produced brands. They're all about quality, not quantity, and they make us feel special, like we're part of an exclusive club. Darc Sport actually numbers their apparel to show that this item is number "20 of 500" (as an example). You can even view your "vault" on their website to see the limited-run products that you own from their collections. Plus, who doesn't love a good story? Niche brands often have a backstory that we can relate to. Darc Sport taps into the motivations and drivers inside us, like the desire to better ourselves every day. So, next time you're in the market for something new, why not give a niche brand a try? You might just find your new favorite thing – and hey, maybe you can join the Wolves with Darc Sport.

You know what? I get it. I understand the trepidation, the fear, the reluctance. I also get that we are on the ground floor of an absolute revolution in the golf space right now with FlingGolf by New Swarm. Allow me to give you some reasons why you as a golf course owner, golfer, or literally anyone else should give this sport a look. 1.) It's extremely easy. (Most people I know have an extraordinarily hard time hitting a golf ball in the first place.) 2.) It's inexpensive. (Most modern drivers will run you $400-$650 USD. A Launch from New Swarm will run you $129.99, and you only need one instead of 13 OTHER clubs to go with it. 3.) For my course operators, you get more foot traffic. (Let's be real, 90 percent of people will NEVER step foot onto a golf course EVER. This is a way to get more people onto the course and having a great time if you rent FlingSticks out at the course.) 4.) Accessibility. (This is a big one. Hitting a golf ball requires a LOT of coordination. Anyone can throw something. Referring back to #1, this game is EASY to learn. If you have someone in your family with injuries, developmental difficulties, or someone that just doesn't like the game of golf for whatever reason, this game equalizes that.) 5.) Freshness. (The other big one. Traditional golf can come off as snooty and just plain dated to some people. This is a new way to navigate the course that anyone can learn with enough reps. You'll learn concepts of traditional golf but from another perspective, and who knows, maybe you'll find ways to augment and improve your traditional golf game by playing FlingGolf like I did. If you're interested in grabbing a FlingStick of your own, head to flinggolf.com and use code GCALLIS10 for 10 percent off your purchase. Let em know I sent you. And if you're looking to collaborate on projects involving this or looking to try it out for yourself, send an email to flinggolfrva@gmail.com

How is it nearly March already?! It often feels like January goes on forever and then in the blink of an eye Feb is over and it’s nearly time to go racing again. 🚥🏎💨 I have been working on something very cool for a little while now which has the potential to be HUGE and it would be a great opportunity for companies and brands to be involved and gain a lot of exposure at a fraction of the usual costs. Things are still being pieced together so I can’t give too much away, but what I can tell you is that if all goes well I will have one of the most eye catching MINI CHALLENGE JCWs on the grid, featuring a very well known brand and I’m looking for 6 more partners to join us. Working with a big brand puts me in a position to create packages that range from £500 - £2000 per race weekend, (with 7 race weekends in total). This would a be a great way for companies to get their foot in the door at a national televised sporting event. If you’re intrigued and would like to find out how you can benefit from being involved and take advantage of the LIVE tv exposure to 15 Million people, footfall of 380,000 spectators, behind the scenes access, networking events, competitions and social media content, drop me a DM or email baz@bazzaward.com #Marketing #Partnerships #TVAdvertising #Motorsport #PeoplePower

"A tradition unlike any other" "Hello friends" I can literally hear the voice of Jim Nantz, just by typing those words. Green, yellow, white, pink ... Talk about "on brand" - somebody knows what they are doing. The Masters is special because they make it special: - Exclusive waiting list for tickets - Constant reference to attendees as "patrons" - A (or should I say THE?!) course that not everyone can pay to play - They literally call it "A Tradition Unlike Any Other" Branding makes a difference. There are 36 PGA events. There are 3 other Major tournaments. But none of them stand out to me like the Masters. (Not to me anyway.) I love it. _________ What are some of your favorite examples of good branding? _____________ *Bonus points if you watched the Masters last week! 😎 #golf #personalbrand #branding #brandgrowth

The two loves of my life came together to create a shitshow. To have the chance to create a brand for Tiger Woods is the holy grail of branding. He is one of two athletes who single-handedly reinvented their sport, built the culture around it, and took its economics to a different stratosphere. It is an opportunity not of a lifetime, but for all of time. Nike had it. They did well. Good branding, good marketing, good product, great ads. But even after 28 years, and all their marketing might, they couldn’t scale it. They couldn’t make a Jordan out of TW. But that’s for another day. Now TaylorMade had the same opportunity. And they sh*t the bed. Despite coming up with a crazy good brand name - Sunday Red. A thing of absolute beauty! Everyone knows what that stands for. Dominance, power, grit, grind, athleticism, excitement, exhilaration, magic. The best a round of golf can be. What a masterstroke of a brand name. And then they go out and put it down as three words, ‘Sun Day Red’ (inexplicable reason explained inexplicably in the link). Seriously? Where is better sense when it’s needed the most? If Sunday Red was registered elsewhere, activate your corporate muscle to get the rights. Else, figure something else out. But for the love of god, golf, branding and Tiger, don’t cop out on an opportunity like this with a three word dimwit scramble. Then there’s the logo which looks more like an orgy of caterpillars than a tiger. It allegedly has 15 stripes to commemorate all of Tiger’s majors (I tried counting, but I don’t know how it adds up to 15). But why make it finite when you’re celebrating an active athlete who sincerely believes he has a few more left in him - despite his age and the 30-odd surgeries that keep his body together. Does the caterpillar tiger change its stripes should Tiger win another major? Or two? I’m guessing infinite, inspiring and limitless are places TaylorMade didn’t bother to look at. What a waste of an opportunity. #golf #branding #sundayred #taylormade #nike #tigerwoods

Practice...Makes... In this game, like everything in life, practice makes perfect Well, at least that's what we strive for anyway, right? That perfectly hit drive that sails past our playing partners, the iron shot that drops feet from the pin or that perfectly read clutch putt to take the match Running an #INDYGOLF brand is very much like that. We are constantly striving to make it in a competitive world, and we practice our craft over and over striving to make a sale, clinch that client, or secure that investment to take you to the next level However, as with Golf, sometimes you go for that big drive and end up hitting the slice or thin the iron straight through the back and sometimes the pressure of that clutch putt is just too much The same occurs in business, you make the wrong choices, life gets busy and priorities change or the sales don't come straight away But you know what, we go again, we practice, we make the mistakes, and we pick ourselves up, head to the range and put in the work to make sure that next time...we play to win...support #independent because we are always putting in the practice to achieve perfection and remember WE ARE #COLLECTIVELYBETTER #practicemakesperfect #fortheloveofindy #fortheloveofthegame #supportingindependent #creativesingolf #amateurgolfcollective #golfcollective #golfisfun
