We recently upgraded the map engine used in our HUGIN 304DF mobile monitoring receiver and direction finder. HUGIN 304DF allows you to plot the lines of bearing towards intercepted emitters. These updates make it even easier to customise the map for your specific mission, with multiple layers including terrain and topographical views, and even the ability to create and use custom maps. #directionfinding #multichannels

This is my favorite - The Wilamette River between Corvallis and Salem Oregon. These are also known as height above river rasters. The DEM is detrended to the baseline elevation of the river. Even better, our hillshade() method is now live and can be found in the Raster_Analysis class. Simply pass the path to a raster file and the function will do the rest. If needed, users can also specify an azimuth, altitude, or z factor as available arguments. Output formats include GeoTIFF, JPG, and PNG.
