When was the last time you struck up conversation with someone new? Conversations can have such a powerful and positive impact on our overall wellbeing. So how comfortable are you talking to strangers? Engaging in conversation with people we don’t know could potentially make us feel awkward and uncomfortable and as a result, we may even avoid social interactions. However, research has shown that having minimal social interactions and a brief conversation with a stranger can make us happier. Even just a brief chat with a commuter on a train or our local barrister can boost our mood!
