The Headspace mission is to “provide every person access to lifelong mental health support.” To support that mission, Headspace turned to Litmos for their L&D needs. Bryan Wong, Security & Compliance Analyst at Headspace, said they chose to partner with Litmos not only "because of the ease and convenience to create, deploy, and assign training, but also because of the ability to manage compliance. With only 10 admins globally at Headspace, Litmos’ automation features have allowed [them] to move away from manually assigning learning paths and courses, making it easier on [their] admins." A few highlights from Headspace's impressive L&D outcomes: ☑️ With Litmos pre-built content, they saved around 40 hours per course ☑️ They had higher compliance training completion rates, helping them achieve HITRUST certification and SOC2 compliance for the past two years ☑️ Increased employee knowledge on security protocols leading to an impressive 50% rise in notifications for phishing and smishing alerts, fostering active engagement in their internal security initiatives Read the rest of their success story ⬇️ https://ow.ly/n9ot50Ss3J7

In the fast-paced world of Managed IT Services and Cybersecurity, we often prioritize the health of our systems and networks. Yet, there's an equally crucial aspect of our industry that demands attention—mental health well-being. As a Chief Information Officer, I've witnessed the immense pressure and stress our teams face daily. The constant vigilance required to protect and manage digital assets can take a toll on even the most resilient individuals. It's time we bring mental health out of the shadows and into the open where it belongs. We need to create a culture where talking about mental health is not just accepted but encouraged. A culture that recognizes the signs of burnout, offers support without judgment, and promotes a healthy work-life balance. It's not just about the well-being of our employees; it's about the well-being of our industry. Let's start the conversation. Let's be the change. #MentalHealthAwareness #CyberSecurity #MSP #WellBeing

🚨Incident Response🚨: Mastering the Art of Calm In The Face Of A Cyber Attack 🛡️💻. When getting that dreaded message of a possible breach or attack, the ability to remain calm and collected is more than a skill it's an art. The high-stakes environment of incident response demands not only technical prowess but also unparalleled mental fortitude. STORYTIME WITH MARCO: I once found myself called into a situation where a prominent financial firm was under siege by a ransomware group. The scene was intense, with the CEO on the phone, overwhelmed with emotion and distress to the point of sobbing 😭 "LOUDLY," while the CTO, also caught in the storm of panic, had to step in, his voice raised 😡 in frustration. Amidst this chaos, I had to become the calm in the storm. With a confident *tone* and clear direction, I methodically outlined the steps we needed to follow, assuring them that we'd navigate our way back to a secure network through these actions. Cultivating mental fortitude in the face of cyber threats involves a blend of preparation, practice, and mindfulness. Techniques like scenario-based training can desensitize us to the chaos of a real cyber incident, while regular mindfulness and stress-management practices, such as meditation or even simple breathing exercises, can help keep our minds clear and focused. It's about building a psychological toolkit that enables us to navigate the storms during incidents with a steady hand. Integrating these mental techniques into our daily routines not only enhances our ability to manage stress during incidents but also contributes to our overall well-being and effectiveness as cybersecurity professionals. Let's prioritize our mental resilience as much as our technical skills. #CyberSecurity #IncidentResponse #StressManagement #DigitalResilience

Documentation is crucial for success
🤔 Ever wondered why we need to document our processes if everyone seems to be doing just fine? Even if your team is smashing it, having everything written down isn't just about capturing what's being done. it's about setting up for success, no matter what comes our way! 🔑 Why Documentation is Your Best Friend in IT : - Knowledge Sharing: Documented processes allow anyone to jump in and get up to speed quickly – super handy for training new folks or filling in when someone is out. - Quality Control: Written processes help maintain high standards. They ensure that everyone follows the same steps every time, which means fewer mistakes and better outcomes. - Scalability: As your team or company grows, having documented processes makes it easier to expand smoothly. It’s like having a blueprint that everyone can follow to replicate success. - Compliance and Auditing:Particularly in IT and cybersecurity, meeting standards like ISO 27002 through documentation is not just good practice; it's a requirement. This proves our operations are transparent and up to code, which is crucial for trust and legal reasons. - Incident Response: In the event of a security breach, well-documented processes allow for swift, organized, and effective response. You don't want to be figuring out your next steps when the clock is ticking. - IT Optimization:Precisely recorded processes related to software deployment, network configuration, or data management aid in troubleshooting, maintenance, and informed decision-making. Remember, great teams don't just happen; they're built on a foundation of clear and compliant processes. Let's document our way to a more secure and efficient workplace! 🚀 #Cybersecurity #ITManagement #Documentation #ISO27002 #Compliance #BestPractices
