A common misconception people have when it comes to planning an event is that once they hire an event planner, everything will be okay. It's not wrong to think like that but it's come to a point where people see their event planners as God. Your event is not going to automatically be a success just because you have an event planner, but it will turn out significantly better than it would have if you'd planned it yourself. The success of an event doesn't rest on the shoulders of an event planner only, but on everyone else. A successful event is a result of great collaboration, effective team planning, and perfect execution of roles by each professional involved in the planning process. While a skilled event planner is important, the collective effort and coordination of the entire team are what makes an event successful. So, when an event doesn't turn out great, don't think it's solely the fault of your event planner.
